NOOSA HEADS REUNION 2010

OUTLINE PROGRAMME

The outline program is set out below. Detailed timings will provided early in 2010

Day 1 – Tuesday, 11 May 2010

Day                  Arrival/Free

Evening            Meet and Greet function on the Noosa River on MV Catalina  1700-2030

Day 2 – Wednesday, 12 May 2010

Morning             Bus tour of Landsborough, Mary Cairncross Park and the Glasshouse Mountains, followed by ‘meandering in Montville’.

Lunch               The Edge restaurant in Montville which has one of Australia’s most spectacular outlooks.

Afternoon          Visit to a local winery.

Evening            End-of-day drinks at Noosa prings. We will probably plan for a small bus or coach to take non-Noosa Springs guests back to Noosa Heads at about 1830 hours.

Return to accommodation at about 1900 hrs.

Day 3 – Thursday, 13 May 2010

Morning Bus trip to Eumundi Village about 25 km from Noosa Heads with visits to:

  • a Belgian chocolate factory
  • an art gallery and creative glassware studio
  • Australia’s biggest book store of rare as well as contemporary books.
  • Briefings will be offered at all three venues.

Lunch  Return to Noosa Heads for lunch at Trio’s Restaurant situated within the Noosa Marina and overlooking the Noosa River.

Early pm   Ferry trip from the Marina to the Noosa Woods wharf via Noosa Sound, one of Australia’s most spectacular (and expensive!) residential areas. The trip will include a briefing by the Captain.

Afternoon  (from about 1530 hrs) Exploring Hasting Street and around Laguna Bay.

Return to accommodation about 1700 hrs (buses as required).

Evening   Final Dinner at Noosa Springs
Transport will be provided to Noosa Springs from Noosa venues at 1830 hrs.
Pre-dinner drinks (jacket and tie) in the Noosa Springs Sunset Lounge 1845 to 1930 hrs.
Dinner 1930-2300 hrs
After-dinner drinks in the Lounge at our own expense.

Buses return to accommodation 2330 hrs.

Day 4 – Friday, 14 May 2010

Morning   Golf at Tewantin Noosa Golf Club 0830-1300.

Estimated cost for club hire, golf cart and green fees is $75 per head, subject to any adjustments before May.
